In the Capo Bellavista peninsula, in Ogliastra, on the 24th September, the fifth Arbatax Park Di Corsa Trophy athletics event will take place inside the Arbatax Park Resort. The race, 7,6km long, will cross the internal paths of the Resort and the streets of the Arbatax borough. Some paths of this new suggestive 7,6km track follow the famous “Marcialonga dei tre mari” race’s course, that, in the 80s, took places several times in Arbatax.
Lenght: 7,6 Km – in the Capo Bellavista peninsula.
Running grounds: asphalt 90%, pebbles ground 10%.
Refuels: 2 different spots of the track.
Description: Fast and easy route that starts from the Resort and ends near the area of the Red Rocks of the seaside village of Arbatax.
The athletes will run turning in Via Venezia, continuing in Piazza Caduti 23 Aprile and climbing in Via Cala Moresca. Steep and difficult stretch. At the hillside, you will enter again into the Arbatax Park and you will follow the internal streets of the Hotel Borgo Cala Moresca. Leaving the hotel you will continue on a fairly fast path in a very suggestive panoramic area with an incredible naturalistic charm. At km 6,200 the runners will take a ramp of about 250 meters with an average gradient of 12% (max slope 23%). The road, low below the lighthouse Bellavista and will launch downhill for about 1500 meters to reach the finish.

The subscription to the race of registered athletes can be made on the website FIDAL , no later than 16:00 on 21 September. As for foreign athletes they must be in possession of the authorization of their Federation to compete abroad. Non-EU athletes will be required a residence permit or entry visa. The fee for participation in the 7,6km competitive race is 20€ for junior, promising and senior categories.
The registration of not registered athletes can be made by sending an email to schirrupietro@tiscali.it , no later than 16:00 on 21 September. Non-registered athletes will be required a nominative RUNCARD, combined with a medical certificate of competitive fitness athletics sector. As for foreign athletes will be required to submit, at the time of registration, a self-certification of membership downloadable from the website www.fidal.it. Another possible method is to be in possession of the FIDAL RUNCARD and the HEALTH FORM-FOREIGN STUDENTS medical certification module, together with the diagnostic exams required by Italian legislation. The fee for participation in the 7,6km competitive race is 20€ for junior, promising and senior categories.
The fee for all participants includes a selection of items that includes:
-Race bib and insurance;
-Ambulance service and health care on the route;
-1 refreshment (bottled water) and 1 refreshment on arrival;
-Total closure of the route to vehicular traffic;
-Tender package;
-Federal tax (equal to 4.5 euros)
-Rental of timekeeping chips;
-Final buffet with fruit and desserts;
METHOD OF PAYMENT
To make the payment of the recreational-motor walk on site there will be a dedicated gazebo that will take care of that.
To make the payment of the registration to the Race 7,6 km will be necessary to pay the fee during the withdrawal of the race bibs in a single solution. By a delegate of each company will be present a gazebo FIDAL.
The Arbatax Park in collaboration with the ASD Margiani Team, after the event, is pleased to invite all athletes participating in the dinner organized for the occasion. Athletes and escorts can purchase meal vouchers for €15.00 at the special stand.
At the end of the race there are awards for the various categories. The winners will receive prizes such as holiday stays, wellness paths, sports equipment and selections of local food and wine excellence.
The Arbatax Park, after the event, offers to all accompanying athletes, the opportunity to buy the meal voucher at a fee of 15€ at the Restaurant of our Resort.
