Halloween in Sardinia is called «Is Animas»

Is Animas and Museum of Terror in Tortolì

Halloween night is approaching and also in Tortolì, in the heart of Ogliastra, we are preparing ourselves with a series of events and demonstrations partly linked to the Sardinian tradition of «Is animas» and partly to the terrifying horror tradition more of an Anglo-Saxon matrix. In this post we summarize two events: «Is Animas» in the central Corso Umberto and the opening of the «Museum of Terror» at the ex-blocker’s in Via Bosa, the dates in both cases are those of October 31 and November 1, 2018.

Is Animas:
October 31, 2018 — 9:00 p.m. — Halloween parade: create your scary costume, take part in the parade and take a picture in mask, post the photo on the social page of the event, the mask that I like most will receive a mysterious prize.
-1 November 2018 — 17.30 — Exhibition of the masks of Tertenia: «Su Maimoni e is Ingestusu».

Opening of the Museum of Terror, Tortolì:
from 5.30 p.m. on Wednesday to 2 p.m. on Thursday — 900 square metres of the park of horrors in the old blockhouse in via Bosa.
