Lanusei is preparing for the 1th edition of the “Festival dei Culurgionis d’Ogliastra”, this event that will highlight the traditional dish of Ogliastra, the Culurgionis: a typical Sardinian filled pasta stuffed with potatoes, Pecorino Sardo cheese, onions and mint and served with tomato sauce. The Culurgionis have recently received the prestigious PGI (protected geographical indication) brand. The event will take place during the last weekend of May at the heart of the town of Lanusei and it will be an opportunity to enjoy culurgionis in its variants. In addition there will be many cultural and informative events and an amateur race for those who will make the best culurgionis.
