This summer it will be possible to fly from Cagliari to a great number of destinations, some of these served from more airlines, with an offer mostly diversified for the travellers in terms of schedules, frequencies and rates. On the side of the international scheduled flight, there will be great novelties and important confirmations this summer. For the first time, next summer three new airlines will work to Cagliari:
• KLM will activate the flight connection Cagliari-Amsterdam, absolute novelty for Cagliari airport.
• Sundor International Airlines, subsidiary of El Al, which will operate a flight connection with the Israeli capital Tel-Aviv.
• Iberia Express will open new flights on the Spanish capital Madrid.
Ryanair is the main European low cost airline, it will fly towards 9 international destinations, among which 4 new routes compared with summer 2016: London, Warsaw, Madrid and Girona; these will be added to those for Bruxelles Charleroi, Cracovia, Düsseldorf Weeze, Frankfurt Hahn and Paris Beauvais. Moreover on the international flight connections, Ryanair will double the ability offered compared with summer 2016.
Meridiana introduces also a new flight connection with Marsiglia, Volotea continues its growth on Cagliari airport with the inauguration of two new routes towards the French market: Nantes and Tolosa.
EasyJet reconfirms the flight connection with Nizza, together with historical routes for Londra Stansted, Parigi Orly, Berlino Schönefeld and to Swiss destinations like Basilea and Ginevra. The Spanish airline Vueling continues its annual flight connection with Barcellona El Prat, while Eurowings presents big novelties, new flights to Hannover and Monaco, in addition to resume flight connections for Amburgo, Berlino, Colonia, Düsseldorf and Stoccarda. Jetairfly proposes new flights for Nantes, Lille, Parigi Ch. De Gaulle, Strasburgo, Deauville and Metz.
There is a return of the flight connections of Lufthansa for Monaco and Frankfurt, this last with a doubling of the ability compared to Summer 2016. Condor also programs for the first time a connection from Frankfurt; British Airways proposes its classical route for London Gatwick (with an increase of frequencies), Skywork that for Berna, Luxair flies to Luxemburg, Austrian Airlines to Vienna and Darwin Airlines Etihad Regional makes route on Geneva and Lugano. Confirmations also for Edelweiss that will connect Cagliari with Zurich, Scandinavian Airlines will fly to Stockholm and Smartwings will go to Praga.
As for flight connections operated on the national territory, this summer Alitalia will open a new route for Naples, besides flights of the territorial continuity for Rome Fiumicino and Milan Linate. The summer national network of Ryanair will be constituted by the flights for Bari, Bologna, Catania, Cuneo, Parma, Trapani, Treviso and Verona, over that from its classical bestsellers for Bergamo, Ciampino and Pisa. Meridiana will take back the connections for Bologna, Milan Malpensa, Naples, Turin and Verona.
EasyJet will propose flights for Naples and for Milan Malpensa; this last airport results particularly pleasant to people who continues towards other European or intercontinental destinations. From Volotea arrives the confirmation of the routes for Ancona, Catania, Genova, Naples, Torino, Verona and Venice. Neos has programmed instead flight connections with Verona and Milan Malpensa, while Mistral Air has planned a new route on Florence and reconfirm Perugia.
Also the next charter season is preannounced very interesting: to great request, the weekly flight connections of British Airways return for London Heathrow. BMI proposes new flights on Bristol and Manchester, People’s Vienna Line proposes again the route Cagliari-Altenrhein, Danish Air Transport does the same on Billund, Enter Air on Paris Ch. De Gaulle, Austrian Airlines on Bolzano and Innsbruck, Gazpromavia on Moscow, while Small Planet Airlines returns to Vilnius.
Novelties are the charters of Paris Ch. De Gaulle and Nantes of Smartwings that also confirms the flight for Bratislava. The company Alk Airlines proposes a new flight connection with Sofia. Finally Air Dolomiti confirms the routes on Bergamo and Verona.
